How To Get Rid Of Mold Once And For All

The ideal places for mold to develop are wet surfaces such as wet wall parts or spilled liquid on the floor during bath time as well as insufficient heating and airflow in conditions of increased moist in the room. In these cases, it usually appears in the room corners, behind the curtains, closets and around the windows. The mold manifests in black or brown dots.

These procedures will help you to eliminate the mold with the help of bleach and tea tree oil instead of using specialized mold removers.

Procedure for eliminating mold

Mix water and bleach (based on chlorophyll) in proportion 3 parts water and 1 part bleach in a sprayer. Spray the molded place and leave it like that for 20 minutes at least. After it dries, repeat the process. You can wash the surface with water and a mild detergent (dish detergent). During the procedure you should use gloves, old clothing and safety glasses.

You will need:

  • oil from tea tree
  • an open window
  • a sponge, cloth and a towel
  • a toothbrush
  • a scrubber brush

First, there should be constant airflow either from a ventilator or from a slightly opened window. This is important so that further development of the mold is prevented.

You mix two spoons of tea tree oil and two glasses of water in a bottle sprayer. Then, you spray the molded surface and leave it like that for an hour. Then, you scrub with the scrubber brush and the toothbrush will help you to brush the hardly reachable places. Then, you wipe the area with a sponge, then with a cloth and in the end with a towel. The wall should not be washed with water, but just wiped.

Moreover, the tea tree has antibacterial and antifungal properties which will prevent the mold from spreading. If you do not succeed in acquiring tea tree then you can do this same procedure only you can use vinegar instead.
