The Texas Frito-Lay, a ‘daughter’ company of PepsiCo, is selling dangerous processed foods, enriched with genetically modified pesticide-producing ‘corn’ and Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide (glyphosate), which is associated with a number of health problems like hormonal imbalance and kidney failure.
Frito-Lay’s Sun Chips contain GM Bt-corn, which makes up about 100% of the corn they use in these chips. This was confirmed with several lab tests.
Bt-corn forms its own insecticide in every cell of the plant. This insecticide cannot be removed, and is controlled by the Environmental Protection Agency. As you may guess, Bt-corn should not be considered as food.
Studies on mammals have shown that this corn changes blood cells, and causes liver and kidney diseases. The protein of this corn does not break down during the process of digestion, but keeps circulating in the bloodstream. This protein was found in the blood of expecting women and non-pregnant women.
SunChips contains dangerous amounts of glyphosate. If you have no idea what glyphosate is, we will help you figure it out. It is the primary active ingredient in Roundup, Monsanto’s weed killer. GMO-Free USA, a consumer advocacy group, used LC/MS/MS testing methods and found glyphosate in SunChips, which was about 0.14 parts per million, or 0.14 milligrams per kilogram.
Glyphosate affects the endocrine system, and causes severe damages to the kidneys and other vitals in the body. The dangerous matter destroys the intestinal micro flora, which takes part in the digestion of nutrients, eliminates dangerous pathogens, and strengthens immunity.
“The quantitative PCR test verified, by DNA analysis, that 100% of the corn in the SunChips was GMO, containing DNA sequences known to be present in insecticide-producing Bt and Roundup Ready corn,” reports GMO-Free USA. “The test [also] documented the presence of glyphosate in SunChips at a level of 0.14 ppm, or 0.14 mg/kg.”
SunChips is toxic to people
Is not it ironic how they sell these chips as ‘healthy, while grain snack’? Moreover, they claim it is low in saturated fat and cholesterol. These ignorant people do not know that saturated fats and cholesterol are important for overall health. Marketing SunChips as healthy food is pretty close to criminal false advertising.
This is an entire network of profits and GMOs. Remember how PepsiCo gave away over $13 million in refusing mandatory GMO labeling. PepsiCo and Frito-Lay sell GMO junk foods, and children are the target group. We know that their products are packed with pesticide and herbicide residues.
Kellogg’s Foot Loops breakfast cereal is also enriched with high levels of GMOs and glyphosate herbicide, as shown by a recent test.
